In cooperation with Christian Peacemaker Team (CPT, see cpt.org) the German Mennonite Peace Committee (see www.dmfk.de) sends delegations who help refugees, partner with local organizations and are active in peacemaking grounded in the transforming power of Gospel nonviolence. Delegations promote active nonviolence as a means of settling disputes, support movement towards nonviolent social change through listening, public witness, prayer vigils, dialogue, and reduce violence through an international presence in affected communities/areas.
